GETTING THERE
Gogarburn, situated six miles to the west of Edinburgh and two miles from Edinburgh International Airport, is well served by buses and lies approximately two miles from South Gyle and Edinburgh Park railway stations.
By Bus
There are frequent services from the airport and the city. We recommend the 35 to get you closest. Please visit www.lothianbuses.com to see timetable information, maps and stops.
By Rail
Edinburgh Park or South Gyle stations are approximately two miles from Gogarburn. Visitors can use the RBS rail shuttle in the peak periods however as this service is used by all employees and can be very busy we recommend pre-booking a taxi from these stations. Please see below for local taxi numbers.
Waverley and Haymarket stations are closest to the City Centre and are best serviced by the number 12 / X12 buses to Gogarburn. To find out about onward travel from these stations, visit www.travelinescotland.com
By Tram
The trams provide an 8min service at peak times between Gogarburn and the City Centre. www.edinburghtrams.com.
It is a short (5 – 10 minute) walk from the Gogarburn stop to the RBS Conference Centre.
By Car
Gogarburn is just a few minutes drive from each of the Edinburgh City Bypass, the M8 and the M9 (see location map).
On-site parking at Gogarburn is very limited and if parking is required, it must be pre-booked. If you need a parking space, please indicate this when booking your ticket.
By Cycle and Motorcycle
The traffic-free canal cycle path runs from the centre of Edinburgh out past the Gyle and Gogarburn. The path is a 10-minute ride from Gogarburn. Facilities for cyclists and motorcyclists include shower rooms and secure parking. To find out more about cycling visit www.cyclingscotland.com.
By Plane
From Edinburgh International Airport visitors can take a 5-minute taxi ride to Gogarburn. There is also the Lothian 35 bus which leaves every 30 minutes.
